I've never been to the south. But there's something magnetic about the soulful voice of Adele doing a cover of Sam Sparro's Black and Gold that makes me wanna hunker down on a front porch with a bowl of gumbo and some Cajun music in the background.
And Mardi Gras in New Orleans is definitely on my bucket list.
I've got to get a hold of my family's gumbo recipe! There is nothing like Louisiana, New Orleans is one of my favourite places I've traveled to. Nothing beats that beautiful Cajun voice! (Alas, I'm not Cajun, just Creole, but the fried catfish is just as good!)
